PT Impian ProfesiInternasional is currently seeking a skilled Japanese Translator to join our team in Jakarta. This role involves facilitating clear communication between Japanese and Indonesian stakeholders through accurate and culturally appropriate translation services. The position requires a meticulous approach to language and a deep understanding of both Japanese and Indonesian business contexts.

About the Role

The Japanese Translator will be responsible for converting Japanese business documents, communications, and materials into accurate Indonesian translations. This role demands precision, cultural sensitivity, and a strong command of both languages. You will play a vital part in ensuring seamless information exchange within our international operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Translating Japanese source materials (documents, emails, presentations, reports) into high-quality Indonesian.
• Reviewing and editing translated content for accuracy, fluency, and adherence to business terminology.
• Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the security of sensitive information.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to clarify translation requirements.
• Utilizing translation tools and resources effectively to enhance productivity and consistency.
• Meeting agreed-upon deadlines for translation projects.

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Japanese and excellent written and verbal skills in Indonesian.
• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as a professional translator, preferably within a business or corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and practices.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free translations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple translation projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with standard translation software and terminology management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Languages, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
