Senior Manager (Strategic Communications)

People's Association (PA) is seeking a Senior Manager (Strategic Communications) to join its Strategic Communications Division. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing integrated communications strategies designed to elevate the visibility and impact of PA's initiatives and the broader Grassroots Movement. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping PA's reputation and fostering positive public perception through compelling narratives and targeted outreach.

About the Role

You will lead the development and implementation of high-level communications plans that align with PA's strategic objectives. This includes identifying key messages, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring consistent brand representation across all channels. Your work will directly influence how PA and its grassroots partners are understood and valued by the community and key audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the execution of integrated communications strategies to amplify PA's work and the Grassroots Movement.
• Lead the creation of compelling content and narratives that build and protect PA's reputation.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing strategic insights to guide communications efforts.
• Collaborate with other divisions to integrate communications into broader organizational initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven track record in developing and delivering successful integrated communications campaigns.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects and diverse teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
