About the Role

The Receptionist will be the primary point of contact for all visitors, managing inquiries, appointments, and administrative tasks with a focus on exceptional customer service. This position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and possesses strong interpersonal skills to handle diverse interactions effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all guests and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, setting the tone for their spa experience.
  • Manage appointment scheduling efficiently, ensuring accuracy and availability for treatments and services.
  • Handle phone inquiries, provide information about spa services, packages, and policies, and take messages as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of guest information, appointments, and payments.
  • Process payments for services and retail products, ensuring transactions are handled securely and correctly.
  • Assist with general administrative duties, including correspondence, filing, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
  • Collaborate with other spa departments to ensure smooth coordination of guest needs and service delivery.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest concerns or requests, aiming for resolution and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or a service-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with basic computer software, including email, scheduling systems, and office suites.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by business needs.
