Financial Controller

About the Role

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the Jakarta office. This includes managing the accounting team, ensuring the integrity of financial records, and preparing timely and accurate financial statements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and a commitment to excellence in financial control.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
• Manage the accounting team, providing guidance and ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial processes to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with senior management to analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts in alignment with company objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors and tax authorities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent role within a similar organization.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is essential.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Deep understanding of Indonesian financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Exceptional communication skills to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
