About the Role

Intern, DAT interns will work directly within SLA's Data Analytics Team, immersing themselves in the practical application of data science principles. Key Responsibilities

• Support data preparation activities, including cleaning, transformation, and validation of datasets.
• Assist in the development and testing of AI models and algorithms under guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., domain experts, software developers, project managers) to understand requirements and integrate data solutions.
• Contribute to documentation and reporting related to data analysis and AI project progress.
• Learn and apply relevant data analysis and AI tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant bachelor's degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics).
• Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in data analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence.
• Basic proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data analysis (e.g., Python, R) and familiarity with data manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Excel).
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies in a professional setting.
