The Cluster IT Specialist will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of network systems, workstations, and server environments, directly supporting business operations and user productivity.

About the Role

The Cluster IT Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the company's IT systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, testing, evaluation, and repair of computer networks, workstations, server systems, supporting hardware, and software. This position requires proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a stable and secure IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer networks, including local area networks (LANs) and related infrastructure.
• Manage and support server systems, including installation, configuration, updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Perform hardware and software maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for workstations and associated peripherals.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Test, evaluate, and implement new technologies or solutions to enhance IT capabilities.
• Provide timely technical support and resolve issues reported by end-users.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or a related field, with a focus on small to medium-sized business environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux), and common hardware components.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with non-technical staff and provide clear guidance.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - MCSA) are advantageous.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to system maintenance and security.
