The LandTransport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a Manager/Deputy Manager for the Ticketing System & Governance team. This pivotal role is central to ensuring the effectiveness, reliability, and integrity of the ticketing systems that underpin Singapore's public transport network. You will be instrumental in driving system ownership, optimizing operational efficiency, and establishing robust governance frameworks to support seamless passenger experiences and regulatory compliance.
**About the Role**
You will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ticketing system governance policies and procedures. This involves defining clear roles and responsibilities, establishing effective monitoring and reporting mechanisms, and ensuring adherence to internal standards and external regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in managing system operations, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a culture of accountability and best practices within the ticketing ecosystem.
**Key Responsibilities**
* **System Governance & Ownership:** Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive governance frameworks for ticketing systems, including defining policies, roles, responsibilities, and escalation procedures.
* **Operational Excellence:** Oversee the day-to-day operations of ticketing systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. Proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
* **Compliance & Risk Management:** Ensure ticketing systems adhere to all relevant internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks.
* **Process Improvement:** Lead initiatives to enhance ticketing system processes, efficiency, and user experience through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
* **Stakeholder Collaboration:** Work closely with internal teams (IT, Operations, Finance, Customer Service) and potentially external vendors to align ticketing system goals with broader LTA objectives.
* **Reporting & Communication:** Prepare and present regular reports on system performance, governance status, and key metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.
**Requirements**
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* **Experience:** Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role within ticketing systems, IT operations, or a similar complex system environment. Experience in public transport or financial systems is advantageous.
* **Technical Knowledge:** Strong understanding of ticketing system architecture, operations, and associated technologies (e.g., payment gateways, databases, APIs). Familiarity with governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) is beneficial.
* **Leadership & Management:** Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams. Strong project management and change management skills.
* **Communication & Collaboration:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and with external partners.
* **Analytical & Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. Proactive approach to problem-solving.
* **Regulatory Awareness:** Understanding of relevant operational and compliance requirements within the public transport sector.
