About the Role

The ELC Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that aligns with our core educational values. This position involves directly engaging with young learners, facilitating their academic and personal development, and ensuring their seamless integration into our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the ELC curriculum and age-appropriate learning objectives.
• Facilitate daily classroom activities, including group work, individual tasks, and interactive learning experiences.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of achievements and areas needing support.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure consistent communication and support for student well-being and learning.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the ELC program through innovative teaching practices and resource sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching in an Early Learning Centre (ELC) or equivalent early childhood setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and effective early childhood pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passion for fostering a love of learning and creating an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere.
